Egypt's FlagThe Flag of Egypt has a red, white, and black band, all of equal size. The colors represent Egypt's struggles and the end of oppression after the Egyptian Revolution of 1952. The bird in the center is the Eagle of Saladin, which is part of Egypt's Coat of Arms as well.(Wikipedia, 2011).

  • Borders the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea
  • Has a population of 81.121 million people (2010 estimate)
  • The capitol is Cairo
  • The Nile River runs the length of the whole country

  • Home to The Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of
  • the Ancient World
